The clients wanted to create a welcoming home in preparation for the arrival of their new baby: a calm and comfortable retreat that the whole family could enjoy together.

A key consideration was improving the layout and circulation of the living space, particularly as the home office is accessed through the rear of the lounge. By bringing the sofa away from the wall, we were able to establish a defined seating area while creating a natural walkway behind it, providing clear access to the office without disrupting the main living space.

The result is a more considered and functional layout that maximises the available space while retaining the warm, relaxed atmosphere at the heart of the brief.
